Pulse Pictures needed an identity that delivered on their mission: “To create documentary and dramatic media content that is in tune to the pulse of the global community, resonates with the hearts and minds of the viewers and inspires positive change.”
Pulse Pictures finances TV and film projects – usually several at the same time. As part of those activities they are often on the film festival circuit and needed a bold, striking introduction (i.e business card) that would be memorable.
To create a sense of social responsibility, we avoided overt film vernacular in leaned toward a non-profit aesthetic. During the Orientation Phase of the project, we discovered that one of the partners made fantastic, meditative art that seemed strong enough to represent the company. The end result, a pairing of their own art and simple typography presents Pulse with the right style and substance.
