<h6>Pulse Pictures needed an identity that delivered on their mission: &#8220;To create documentary and dramatic media content that is in tune to the pulse of the global community, resonates with the hearts and minds of the viewers and inspires positive change.&#8221;</h6>
<p><span id="more-565"></span></p>
<p>Pulse Pictures finances TV and film projects &#8211; usually several at the same time. As part of those activities they are often on the film festival circuit and needed a bold, striking introduction (i.e business card) that would be memorable.</p>
<p>To create a sense of social responsibility, we avoided overt film vernacular in leaned toward a non-profit aesthetic. During the Orientation Phase of the project, we discovered that one of the partners made fantastic, meditative art that seemed strong enough to represent the company. The end result, a pairing of their own art and simple typography presents Pulse with the right style and substance.</p>

<h6>Travel Tripper is a young, ambitious company that provides best-in-class booking solutions for primarily independent hotels.</h6>

<p>They offer targeted online marketing that puts hotels in front of the right customers and promise to close more deals, more proﬁtably. Their complete distribution system attracts more direct &#8220;lookers&#8221; and converts more valuable &#8220;bookers&#8221;. This smart, sophisticated company needed their brand to reflect their high performance offering.</p>
<p>Suburb teamed with brand strategist, <a href="http://www.imaginaryfriend.com" target="blank">Kriston Rucker</a> to sharpen the Travel Tripper messaging, solidify a brand personality and create a lasting brand promise: Be Direct.</p>
<p>We used that foundation to create a new tagline, logo and identity system. If that weren’t enough, we then designed a new website to appropriately communicate the new Travel Tripper. Our involvement included all look &#038; feel  development as well as information architecture. </p>
<p>We continue to work with Travel Tripper to help them successfully execute materials using their new identity system. And we are lending some visual design and UI support for the next version of their booking engine Rez Trip.</p>

<p>Their name says Gigi&#8217;s but really they&#8217;re two sisters. They approached Suburb to help them launch their brand. In researching the category we discovered that bakeries don&#8217;t tend to use good photography. This was an obvious opportunity. Thanks to the camera work of <a href = "http://www.sgoralnick.com" target="_blank">Stephanie Goralnick</a>, some nice copy by <a href="http://www.jenniferjoanne.com" target="_blank">Jenny Eggers</a> and a fair amount of 100% magenta and 100% black, Gigi&#8217;s Cupcakes is a clean system in a mostly frilly world.</p>
<p>We created the logo and tagline, the usual corporate identity materials, order forms, advertising and of course the website.</p>
<p>Gigi&#8217;s are available only through delivery so the web presence was especially important. Besides creating a delicious brand presence and telling the Gigi&#8217;s story, the website needed have a very clear e-commerce stage. With their numerous flavors, toppings and decorations, Gigi&#8217;s Cupcakes are available in an almost limitless variations. The site explains this in clear detail and then walks a customer through the ordering process logically and simply. </p>
